The Amazon announced Tuesday that its Metal 3d printers are now available for $99, and they’re priced at $99 per piece.
The company says the Metal 3ds is a 2-pronged plastic nozzle that can make up to 30 3D prints in one hour, and that it’s made from materials including paper, plastic, glass, metal, and leather.
Walmart also sells a $49 version of the machine.
Included with the Machine is a plastic case, and the machine also comes with an iPad charger, but that’s only for the Walmart Express store, which is only open until Sept. 30.
The Machine is available to purchase in the Walmart stores, but it costs $299, which isn’t cheap for a machine with a metal nozzle.
The price tag isn’t the only issue with this Amazon Machine.
There’s a $29.99 $99 value added tax for the Machine, and Walmart is requiring customers to pay a $15 additional tax on the Machine’s $99 price.
The Amazon Machine is the second most expensive 3D printers available on Amazon, after the $599 $999 Power3D Printer, which the company has said has the fastest speeds and the most robust design.
The 3d Printer is currently priced at about $8.99 per 3D print, with Walmart charging $49 for the machine and $49.99 for the printer, which comes with a charger.
The Machine is $99 with a $79 value added, but $99 without a charger, which adds another $99.99 to the price tag.
If you want to try out the machine yourself, Walmart is currently accepting preorders for a $99 machine, but they’ll be sold out in the coming days.
Walmart’s Amazon Machine has not yet shipped.
