The biggest house in the world is coming to the UK, with the UK’s largest homebuilder unveiling plans for a £3.2 billion ($4.4 billion) development that will see an expansion of the UK luxury housing market.
The new project will see a four-storey tower rise up in north London and include a hotel and office towers, the building will have a 1,000-room luxury hotel, an outdoor amphitheater, a shopping mall, a sports stadium, a gym and a theatre, The Times reported.
The £3 billion ($3.4 million) development will be the first new tower to be built in the British capital since the city was founded in the 16th century.
The development will include a tower with a height of over 1,200 feet (345 meters) and will include luxury apartments with a view of the Thames.
The project will also include a residential neighbourhood, a public park and a residential park, The Daily Telegraph reported.
It is expected to be complete by 2020.
The tower, which will be built on a site on the north side of Westminster, will be connected to a tower that will be completed in 2020.
The building is expected be able to accommodate a new population of 3 million, The Telegraph reported, citing a report from a private developer.
The British luxury housing sector is growing rapidly, with homebuilders now building more than two-thirds of all luxury properties in the country.
